Kim G. Hansen

Kim G. Hansen focuses his practice on IT; IP matters, including protection and strategy, commercialization, licensing and litigation; advice and negotiation on IT-procurement and outsourcing arrangements; information security and privacy compliance; and computer games. His transactional practice includes licensing, outsourcing, research and development arrangements, technology transfer, and commercial arrangements that involve general IP and technology issues.

For a number of years, Mr. Hansen has served as an external associate professor, teaching IT law at Aarhus University and at the Aarhus School of Business and IP law at the University of Copenhagen. Mr. Hansen lectures on starting up an IT business and IT Internet law at the IT University of Copenhagen. Mr. Hansen has been the President of IT Law Group Europe (2010–2012), and is a former chair of the Association of Danish IT Attorneys, secretary to the Danish Forum for IT-law, and a member of the Danish IT Society’s council on IT and law. He holds a Ph.D. in software patents from the Aarhus University and an LL.M. in Computer and IT Law from the Strathclyde University.

Nick Ilsø 

Nick Ilsø is a senior legal consultant at CO:PLAY Law Firm located in Copenhagen. Mr. Ilsø focuses his practice on company law and many aspects of IT, primarily security and privacy compliance, as well as data protection, IT law, and corporate law.

Mr. Ilsø holds an M.Sc. degree in Business Administration and Commercial law from Copenhagen Business School and a diploma in Practical Leadership—productivity, relations, quality, and management. He is fluent in Danish and English. Mr. Ilsø is a member of the Danish Association for Data Protection Law.
